RED RIBBON WEEK DRESS UP DAYS AND DONATION DRIVE

Red Ribbon Week is October 23-31 and NHE has lots has community service projects, several contests and lots of fun activities planned during the 7 days. Please click here for the NHE 2019 Red Ribbon Week Flyer with all the details.

DRESS UP DAYS 

Wed October 23 - Thur October 31

Wednesday, Oct 23: LOVE Yourself Enough to be Drug Free
Wear as much RED as possible. The class in K-3rd and 4th-6th wearing the most red will win a prize!

Thursday, Oct 24: LEI Off Drugs
Wear Hawaiian attire. Hawaiian shirts, Hawaiian shorts, grass skirts (no swimsuits, please)

Friday, Oct 25: Follow Your DREAMS…Don’t Do Drugs
Wear school-appropriate pajamas.

Monday, Oct 28: We POSITIVELY Won’t Do Drugs
Wear shirts with positive and encouraging messages written on them

Tuesday, Oct 29: Don’t Get MIXED Up with Drugs
Wear mismatched clothes

Wednesday, Oct 30: Your Future is BRIGHT…Don’t Do Drugs
Wear neon and sunglasses

Thursday, Oct 31: Drugs are SPOOKY
Wear orange and black

DONATION DRIVE CONTEST

Mon October 21 - Fri November 1

Students and staff are encouraged to donate to our school-wide donation drive from Monday, October 21-Friday, November 1. 

  • What do we donate?
    Deodorant, 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner
  • Where do we put our donations?
    Please put your donation in the box at the start of your hall.
  • Who will receive the donations?
    Students and families in RISD will benefit from this year’s donation drive. All donations will be given to the RISD Clothes Closet. 

The hallway who collects the most donations wins a prize!
