RISD Clothes Closet
Armario de Ropa de RISD
The RISD Council of PTAs Clothes Closet provides clothing for RISD students in need so they can feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. Students are referred by their school counselor or nurse and receive a complete wardrobe.
El Armario de Ropa del Consejo de PTAs de RISD proporciona ropa a estudiantes que la necesitan para que puedan sentirse cómodos, seguros y preparados para aprender. Los estudiantes son referidos por el consejero o la enfermera escolar y reciben un guardarropa completo.
Donations accepted: Like-new, current clothing in sizes 3T through adult XXL that is free of holes, stains, and excessive wear.

Well-loved clothing and other textiles may also be donated. Please place those items in a separate bag clearly labeled “World Wear.”

Library Volunteers

The NHE library is looking for volunteers! Approximately 1,600 books circulate each week, so there are plenty of ways to lend a hand.

Education Friends
Este grupo es para voluntarios que prefieren comunicarse en español y se sienten más cómodos en un grupo pequeño. Apoyamos a los maestros y a la escuela con tareas prácticas, como preparar las carpetas de los martes, ayudar en la biblioteca y colaborar con programas e iniciativas de la PTA.
This group is for volunteers who prefer communicating in Spanish and feel more comfortable in a small-group setting. We help teachers and the school with practical tasks such as preparing Tuesday folders, assisting in the library, and supporting PTA programs and initiatives.

Our coop has three friendly hens who need care on weekends and school holidays. It is a fun and simple way to support NHE. First-time helpers are welcome, and we can provide a quick introduction.
